How to Use

🎯 Goal

Read and tap rhythms in 4/4 with accurate timing as notes scroll across the staff.

🧭 Interface

  • Level: choose difficulty (L1–L8).
  • Length: 30–120s session duration.
  • BPM: tempo control.
  • Start / End: begin or stop a session.
  • Calibrate: quick device-latency sync.
  • Counters: beat (1–4) and subdivision flashes.

⚙️ Calibration

  1. Tap Calibrate.
  2. Hear an 8-beat "count-in" pattern (1 - 3 - 1 2 3 4).
  3. Then tap with the next 8 clicks.
  4. Offset is saved automatically; repeat anytime.

🥁 Playing

  • iPhone/iPad: tap the blue button or the white stage where you see the staff..
  • Desktop: press Spacebar (or click those same tap zones).
  • Warm-up: two bars of rests before the first notes.

📊 Scoring

  • Perfect ≤ 90 ms, On-Beat ≤ 180 ms.
  • “Pocket” / “Rush” / “Drag” timing feel.
  • Personal bests saved by level & BPM.
