We Want Workshops

We’ve hosted many band labs and musician’s workshops over the years. This past July we’ve experienced one of the best ever. With more singers and risk taking instrumentalist who’d rather rock with new friends than work it out alone in the bedroom – though there’s need for that too… =-). It seemed by the end of the workshop everyone was focused and clamoring for more. The point is we had a wonderful group of kids aged 11 to 16 who pushed for performance. The next workshop will be more intensive than ever and give some dedicated students some great experience and opportunities to grow with live playing.

851 Music Studio 2.0

Well, it’s old news now but 851 Music Studio has moved to it’s new location: 1043 Grant St. Bencia. The place has come a long way with a remodeled bathroom and new studios. It also sports a large performance space for recitals and student concerts. Located in Benicia’s arts district it’s has a pleasant view overlooking the Carquinez Straights. The parking is better and there’s less traffic so it’s safer. This location is the best one we’ve ever had and I’m very much looking forward to everyone coming in to see it!
