Maureen Moore

Maureen is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of the University of Southern California where she received her degree in Music and Vocal Performance. After performing for many years in Southern California, she moved to the Bay Area in 1992 where she continued to perform in musical theatre. She is a Certified Speech Level Singing Instructor. Requirements for this certification are very rigorous and all SLS teachers are tested every year to meet a high standard of compliance.

Maureen opened her vocal studio in 1994 and has since taught many students the joy of singing.Some of Maureen's students use their training and talent to garner large college vocal scholarships and are pursuing professional careers. Maureen has devoted her life to teaching, loves teaching, and wouldn't have it any other way.

Maureen has been a teacher here in Benicia for 14 years and has the knack for drawing out the best in students. She knows how to keep her warm and nurturing approach while inspiring her students to excellence. Recently one of her students earned a $24,000.00 scholarship.
