Matt Guggemos

Matthew Guggemos -From approximately 1991 to 1997, studied music at Michigan State University. During his career as a professional musician, he played with tenor saxophonist Branford Marsalis, alto saxophonist Benny Carter, trumpeter Marcus Belgrave, bass player Rodney Whitaker, tenor saxophonist Eric Alexander, pianist Larry Vuckovich, and alto saxophonist Andrew Speight.

Matthew has over 15 years of teaching experience, working with children and adults at all levels from beginner to expert. He currently plays with mirthKon, a local progressive rock group, and other jazz artists in the Bay Area. When he isn't playing drums, Matthew works as a speech-language pathologist.
